Kyle was a recipient of the Al Neuharth Free Spirit Award and received a scholarship from the USA Today founder. and served as a youth correspondent for WITF Public Media in Harrisburg, Pa. Upon graduating high school, Kyle worked as a news anchor/DJ for a cluster of radio stations in his hometown of Chambersburg, Pa. At 13-years-old, he began reporting for the nationally-syndicated television program “Teen Kids News” created by television news icon Al Primo. The journalism bug bit Kyle at a young age. After four years at WHP-TV, Kyle spent several months freelancing at WFMZ-TV in Allentown, Pa. He became the station’s morning reporter during his last semester at Shippensburg University. as a general assignment reporter covering the big stories of the day bringing exclusive reports to his audience. Kyle began his career at WHP-TV in Harrisburg, Pa. In addition, he volunteered his time to numerous non-profit organizations. While there, Kyle produced special reports on crime investigations and field anchored breaking news coverage of massive flooding damaging a small town, a large apartment complex fire and a deadly shooting on a college campus. Prior to joining LNL, Kyle served as primary anchor and assistant news director for Gray station WHSV-TV in Harrisonburg, Va since 2016.
